Doula Support

Throughout your pregnancy and postpartum, I will be available by text and phone call any time for questions and support. You will also have access to my lending library of books and other birth and/or mental wellness resources.

Doula Support Package–$1500

2-3 prenatal visits, continuous labor support throughout the duration of your birth, and 2 postpartum visits, as detailed below. All visits will be collaborative and focused on YOUR needs!

1st prenatal visit (90 mins):

  • Exploring past experiences & beliefs about birth

  • Discussion of birth preferences & creating your birth map

  • Creating your ideal birth environment & support team

  • Basic pregnancy/birth education, if desired

  • Thorough screening for PMADs; education & connection to resources as needed (learn more on my mental wellness page!)

2nd prenatal visit (90 mins):

  • Labor positions & comfort measures (hands on + educating partner)

  • What’s in my doula bag?

  • Basic education on phases of labor, signs & symptoms, if desired

  • Preparing & planning for the fourth trimester (postpartum period)

  • Mental health check in

3rd prenatal visit (optional, add $150) (90 mins):

  • Reflexology

  • Guided relaxation & fear release

  • Final preparation of birth space

Labor Support:

  • On call from 38 weeks

  • I’ll come to you whenever you need me in labor–can be in your home or can meet you at your birthing location

  • Continuous physical and emotional support through labor–counter pressure, suggestion of labor positions, attuned to physical needs (offering water, snacks, rest, etc.), support in making decisions/advocacy with care team as needed

  • Emotional support to partner

  • Stay for 1-2 hours post birth, support with first latch if breastfeeding; I won’t leave until you’re all settled and resting!

1st postpartum visit (within 1 week after birth) (90 mins):

  • Processing birth

  • Provide & review birth timeline

  • Practical support (ex: cooking, cleaning, grocery shopping, basic newborn care/education, basic breastfeeding support/education, maximizing sleep)

  • Mental health check in

  • Connection to resources as needed

2nd postpartum visit (between 4-6 weeks after birth) (90 mins):

  • Processing life adjustment; discussing support needs

  • Practical support as needed

  • Thorough screening for PMADs; education and connection to resources as needed

  • Closure
